Social media strategist

As a native of the Rio Grande Valley, Andrea uses her experience of living by the border to create inclusive communication strategies. Andrea is an innovative strategic communicator with experience in bilingual writing, public relations, and digital communications. In addition, she has experience with constituency building in Texas. Andrea recently served as a Digital Communications Coordinator for Raise Your Hand Texas during the 88th Texas Legislative Session where she audited digital platforms to create strategies for successful campaigns.

Andrea is an Honors graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. She graduated from the Moody College of Communication with a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Leadership. Andrea's dedication to serving her community has led her to enroll in the Master's in Advertising program at the Stan Richards School of Advertising and Public Relations. Andrea lives with her 15-year-old pup named Secret and together they enjoy documentaries and yoga.
