Victoria Wang (she/her)

Advisor + Researcher

Victoria Wang is a researcher and former early childhood educator who grounds her work in her lived experiences growing up in Texas as a second-generation Chinese American.

The core values that drive Victoria’s work, both personally and professionally, are humility, belonging, and connection. She approaches research as a form of storytelling and brings a critical, humanizing lens to her work by questioning assumptions and striving to investigate the margins. When done with intention, she believes research has the power to amplify marginalized voices, counter and reshape dominant narratives, and build capacity and momentum for change.

Victoria is currently a Research and Policy Associate at the Learning Policy Institute (LPI), where she works on the Early Childhood Learning and Educator Quality teams. Her work at LPI supports research and policies that improve early learning systems and quality educator preparation in California and other states.

Victoria currently resides in Los Angeles, California with her partner, Adam, and two cats, Leo and Mochi. She enjoys spending her time climbing with friends, hiking, cooking, and reading. You’ll most likely find her taking photos of her cats, on a weekend trip to the mountains, or eating her way through LA’s many restaurants.
